Ashadha Gupt Navratri — the 'secret' monsoon Navratri (Ashadha Shukla Pratipada to Navami), also called Gayatri Navratri — July 14–22, 2026 (Parana July 23) and July 4–11, 2027 (Parana July 12). Nine nights of quiet Shakti sadhana ahead of Chaturmas.
Dates 2026–2027
Mantra
या देवी सर्वभूतेषु शक्तिरूपेण संस्थिता। नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः॥
Ya Devi Sarvabhuteshu Shaktirupena Samsthita, Namastasyai Namastasyai Namastasyai Namo Namah — The goddess who resides in all beings as their energy and power; salutations to her, again and again
✦ Special Note
Gupt (hidden) Navratri is observed privately — mantra japa, Durga Saptashati path and Mahavidya sadhana rather than public celebration. Dates follow Drik Panchang for Dallas / US Central; in India the day-wise dates can differ by one day (India begins July 15 in 2026). In 2027 a tithi merges, so the Navratri runs 8 solar days (July 4–11).
