Rangwali Holi (Dhulandi) — the festival of colours, played on the morning after Holika Dahan. Celebrating the eternal love of Radha and Krishna and the arrival of spring, it is a day of gulal, music, forgiveness, and renewed bonds — not a fasting day, but a day of festive satvik feasting

Per Drik Panchang. Rangwali Holi 2026: Wednesday, March 4. Drik Panchang notes that due to the lunar eclipse on March 3, 2026, Holi is celebrated on March 4. Holi is a feasting day, not a fast — visit elders, apply gulal, and share sweets. In Braj (Mathura-Vrindavan) the celebrations span the full week before.
