✦ Special Note

Chauwdas is the Chaturdashi (14th tithi) of each fortnight, observed with evening Pakshik Pratikraman. For regular pakshik dates, the sunrise-prevailing day is used (agreeing with the Gujarati Vikram Samvat civil calendar). Exception: Chaumasi Chaudas dates follow Drik's published festival anchor — e.g. Kartika Chaumasi Chaudas 2027 = Nov 12 (Drik), even though the sunrise-prevailing rule gives Nov 13. Dates per Drik Panchang (drikpanchang.com, Jain calendar, New Delhi — anchored to its published Chaumasi Chaudas dates for 2026–2027) with astronomical tithi verification; splits settled by the Gujarati VS calendar (Prokerala Gujarati panchang, VS 2082-84).
