Mantra

विष्णो विष्णो तू भजे रे प्राणी

Vishno Vishno tu bhaje re prani

O living being, chant Vishnu, chant Vishnu — Jambhoji's mool mantra, recited at the spring Mukam Mela.

How to recite

If able to travel: undertake the spring Mukam yatra (Bikaner district) for the havan at Samrathal Dhora and dhokh at Jambhoji's samadhi. If observing from home: perform sandhya morning and evening, recite Jambhoji's Shabadvani, and chant 'Vishno Vishno tu bhaje re prani' on a tulsi mala. Many Bishnoi families visit Lalasar Sathari (Phalodi) during the spring season.

Benefits

The Phalgun Amavasya Mukam Mela is the second of the two annual Bishnoi pilgrimages to Mukam (Bikaner). Held at the end of winter, this spring mela coincides with the agricultural rest before the summer harvest in Marwar. Pilgrims circumambulate Samrathal Dhora — the dune where Jambhoji established the panth in 1485 CE — and seek his blessings for the year's harvest, family welfare, and continued strength to uphold the 29 niyams.
